Social, open, interested

I am a fairly social person, I like to meet new people and learn new things. I am a member of quite a few groups including the Icelandic womens group in Rogaland, Women in Business Iceland and MBA Iceland. I was in the Womens Choir of Kopavogur and am now a board member in Islandsk - Norsk forening

I love to travel and have seen a bit of Norway; Gloppudalsura, Lysefjørd, Flekkefjørd, Søkndalsstrand, Sirdal, Tau and Månefoss to name a few. I have also been to Sweden, Denmark, Germany, UK, Ireland, Hungary, Belgium, Spain, Malta, USA, Morroco, China and of course Australia.

Below are a few clarifications of my interests.

FAAS - Icelandic Alzheimer Association

Having watched my father wither away from the Alzheimers disease I understand the need for assistance and support to the familiy. My mother was chairman of the Association and I assist as a volunteer with their website and by posting aritcles and information on a facebook page I set up.

Sunday School in Sandnes

The Icelandic church runs a Sunday School in Høyland Menighetshus in Sandnes, the last sunday of each month. There are three of us who tend to these gatherings and in the afternoon we have meetings with the Icelandic teenagers in a special fun filled group.

We have a facebook page for the Sunday School:
